Find their size 📏

The Shark Vest runs 1–2 sizes small (Asian sizing). Two minutes with a soft tape measure now saves a re-order later.

How to measure

  1. Back length — base of the collar to the base of the tail, standing straight.
  2. Chest girth — around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs. Snug, not tight.
  3. Weight — use it as a tie-breaker, not the main measurement. Chest wins every time.

🐾 Wiggly dog? Measure while they're eating — works every time.

⚠️ The honest sizing rules

  • Between sizes? Always size up. A slightly roomy vest floats fine; a tight one stays in the closet.
  • Chest girth beats weight. A stocky 20 lb Frenchie and a lean 20 lb Whippet wear different sizes.
  • Short-snouted breeds (Frenchies, Pugs, Bulldogs) — size up if the chest is near the top of a range; they carry it broad.
  • Wrong size anyway? 30-day returns, no restocking fee. We'd rather swap it than have it not fit.
